Dear Brother,

It was a very exciting moment when we came across the good news that you have won a gold medal in the State Atheletic Meet. I congratulate you on your golden success on behalf of all the members of your family and your friends.

Moreover, you have broken your own record in 100 m race. You have not only made us and your school proud but also brought laurels to the state. After a long lag of five years, our state has been able to grab the gold medal in this event. Papa had a talk with your coach. He told him that you are now toiling hard for National Games.

I am sure your hard work will definitely bear fruit. And then one day you will make even our country proud by representing India in Common Wealth Games.

Being inspired from you, I have also started practising day and night for my event, i.e. 200 m race, in sports stadium though keeping pace with my studies.

Everyone at home and in our colony is eager to welcome you. Looking forward to see you soon. With love
