Answer» Answer: There are 48 women (method is below). 5+4=9. The RATIO is 5:4, so the TOTAL number of 'parts' that that the 108 is split into is 9. 108/9=12. So each 'part' of the ratio is worth 12. 12*4=48. The 9 'parts' are allocated in a ratio of 5:4, so the total number of women is 4 TIMES the value of 1 part.
