By sum property of a triangle

We get

By substituting the values in above equation

x + 110^o + x = 180^o

By addition we get

2x + 110^o= 180^o

On further calculation

2x = 180^o – 110^o

By subtraction

2x = 70^o

By division

x = 35^o

Therefore, x = 35^o and y = 35^o.
