Hence Mg can DISPLACE Cu from `CuSO_(4)`solution and hence blue coloured `CuSO_(4)` SLOWLY turns colourless .Ag being less reactive than Cu, cannot displace Cufrom`CuSO_(4)` and hence the solution remains blue.
