Answer» TILL date there was no provision/regulatory binding for ensuring good manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicines. Imposition of GMP through an amendment in the CURRENT licensing procedures has been implemented w.e.f. 23-6-2000 . This will not only pose stringent guidelines for having standard hygienic CONDITIONS in the pharmacy, but will also help in IMPROVING the quality of medicinal PRODUCTS. Till date there was no provision/regulatory binding for ensuring good manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicines.
