It is told that mitochondria were surviveing of there own and a bacteria engulfed in for this reason it is having two membrane one of its own and the second of the bacteria which engulfed it. Is this statement true as all the organelles inside a eukaryotic cell are double membraned. So how it is proved that mitocondriya and plastids can survive of their own? |
