It NARRATES the legend of how St. Peter had once cursed an old lady for being mean and stingy . The main lesson is that greed always gets punished . JUSTIFICATION of the title →The title of the poem clearly state that the poem is about a legend of North Land . Like most of the stories , it seems to be passed on from generation to generation WITHOUT a clue of it being true . The title is APPROPRIATE as it introduces the narrative form of the story which is to impart moral values. The place where it took place ( North Land ) is also clearly mentioned in it.
