That is when the misuse occurs.</p><p>FOR INSTANCES</p><p>We get our water supply from tanks. So unlike village people we actually don't have to go and search for water. Then there are so many machines these days which reduces our work like the coffee maker, flour grinder etc. But the biggest issue is that nowadays we rarely go somewhere on our door. It either a car or a taxi or a bus or anything that can take us without letting us bear the pain of walking. This makes is unhealthy and unfit</p><p>There are so many disadvantages of being unhealthy and unfit. We will discuss them in brief. The major problem is obesity. Obesity these days is going viral. Most of the school kids fall prey to it. They face utter humiliation in working places. Also we don't stay mentally fit if we are not physically fit. </p><p>Due to the scientific machines and power very less people are needed to produce things. It means that if earlier a work was to be done by 100 men, now it can be done by 10 men with the help of the machines. Therefore people are not getting jobs. This affects the economic growth of the country, India</p><p>Another fatal effect of growing technology is the increase in wars due to the production of deadly weapons like the atom bomb and others.</p><p>Therefore we can conclude that scientific gadgets are neither good or bad. Science has invented many goods of comforts and luxury. It has invented the radio, the cinema, and the television. It manufactures beautiful suits and saris. But all are not rich enough to possess these costly things. All cannot lead the life of the hero and heroine of a cinema film. The result is that they feel unhappy and dissatisfied. Thus science increases human misery.</p><p>These are but the minor evils of scientific inventions. One of the greatest misuses of science is its use for purpose of war. It has produced fatal weapons like atoms and hydrogen bombs. Rockets and inter-continental ballistic missiles enable their possessors to drop bombs on any corner of the world. The use of these weapons in any future will cause mass-scale massacre. Indeed, the entire civilization will be destroyed. This misuse has made all right thinking men indignant with science itself.</p> <p>Along with positive impacts of electronic gadgets, there are negative impacts as well. The commonly used gadgets like computers, television, mobile phones, mp3 players, iPods, etc. are being misused. The use of computer for long time make people lethargic. Sitting constantly in front of television is affecting the eyes of children and their studies.</p><p>After the introduction of games on computers or mobile phones, children have forgotten all the physical activities and games that helps them grow physically and mentally. This is making children suffer from obesity and thus affecting their health. Gadgets like webcams were introduced for video calls or conferences but these are now being misused in a filthy way.Webcams are being fixed in trial rooms of malls and showrooms to capture pictures and videos. The gadgets are made keeping in mind the needs of the society but they are never made with a purpose of misusing.</p> | |
