| Answer» The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) approved the appointment of Sandeep Bakhshi as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICICI Bank for three years. The approval is against a five-year term sought by ICICI. The appointment will be with effective from October 15. Mr.Bakhshi was elevated from the post of Chief Operating Officer (COO) to MD and CEO after the resignation of Chanda Kochhar on October 4. | |
