Paracetamol is prescribed to take once in 6 hours, justify this statement. |

Answer» Solution :(i) Paracetamol is awell known antipyretic and analgesic that is prescribed in case of fever and body pain. (ii) .Paracetamol has a half life of 2.5 hours WAITING the body.(i.e) the plasma concentrationof the drug is halved after 2.5 hours. So after 10 hours ( 4 half lives) , only 6.25 % drug remains based on this the dosage and frequency will be decided. (iii) In the case of Paracetamol , it is USUALLY paracetamol, it is used widely prescribed to take one.s hand 6 hower. |
