Answer» Answer: Well the simplest way i find to do it on the go for beginners is to first calculate 10% of a number. For example lets USE the number 98. 75% of 98=? so what i WOULD do is GET 10% of 98 which is 9.8. Now that we have 10% we can get 70% by multiplying 9.8 by 7 which gives us 68.6. It can be a bit challenging but its not too difficult. Now that we have 70% of 98 we know all we need is another 5% to get to 75%. All we need to do to do that is use the original 10% that we got and divide that in half. 9.8/2=4.9. And Finally with this 4.9 that we got we add it to the 70% to get 75%. 68.6+4.9=73.5 and thats 75% of 98.
