Fᴏʀᴍᴜʟᴀ ᴜsᴇᴅ :-Profit = Total SP - Total CP Profit % = (Profit * 100) / CPSᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-→ ÇP of 75 unfinished article = Rs.1275 → Total Money Spent on Fishing = 3 * 75 = Rs.225 .So, → Total CP = 1275 + 225 = Rs.1500 ------ Eqn(1) ._____________________Now, → (1/3) of Article = (1/3) * 75 = 25 Article.→ SP of 1 Article = Rs.26 → SP of 25 such Article = 26 * 25 = Rs.650 And,→ SP of Rest Each Article = Rs.22→ SP of Rest 50 Articles = 22 * 50 = Rs.1100So, → All over SP = 1100 + 650 = Rs.1750 ----- Eqn(2)._____________________Therefore, → Total Profit = SP - CP = Eqn(2) - Eqn(1) = 1750 - 1500 = Rs.250 → Profit % = (250 * 100) / 1500 = 16.67% (Ans.)
