Prove that π =22/7? |
|
Answer» Answer: Hey Mate, π is actually the VALUE of the circumference divided by the diameter. I will give you the PROOF that π = 22/7 in my own way but before that I WANT you to know one thing. The actual value of π is not 22/7. It is just an approximation to get to the closest value. Follow these steps:- Step 1 : Take a round plate. Step 2 : Measure its circumference. ( I got 82 cm ) Step 3 : Measure its diameter. ( I got 26 cm ) Step 4 : Divide the circumference by the diameter. ( I got 3.15384 ) I may have not taken the accurate dimensions of the plate so it is a bit different from the value of π. Hence, I actualy can't prove π = 22/7 since, it is just an approximation but the experiment I have done will give you the actual value of π if you take the accurate dimensions of the plate. |
