(ii) Output generation : SSIs contribute almost 40 per cent of the gross industrial value added , small indutries in our contry supply an enorger , domestic utensils , leather , plastic and rubber goods , etc, (iii) Rural industriallisation and balanced regional development :- the development ov village and rural industries leads to industrialisation in rural areas SSIs produce simple propucts by using simple technology and local resurces they can be anywhere in the country , thus balanced regional development is possible .
