Answer» Correct Answer - Option 2 : 14875

Given :

Ram’s monthly income = Shyam’s monthly income × 120%

Shyam’s monthly income = Monthly income of Sohan ×  85%

Difference between the monthly income of ram and Sohan = 350 Rs.

Calculation:

120% = 6 / 5

85% = 17 / 20

Ram  :   Shyam  : Sohan

 6      :     5                          (× 17)

                17      :       20      (× 5)

⇒ 102    :    85    :      100

Difference between the monthly income of ram and Sohan = 350 Rs.

102 Ratio – 100 Ratio = 350Rs

2 Ratio = 350Rs.

Shyam’s monthly income (85 Ratio) = \(\frac{{350}}{2} \times {\rm{\;}}85\)

∴ The monthly income of Shyam is Rs. 14875.
