NAM was established in 1961 in Belgrade, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia through an initiative of the Indian Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is an organization of Redeveloping nations that are not formally aligned, with any major power flex.
