Answer»

Hello!

Here is the answer for your question!

Question:-  SHOW that x= -3 is the solution of 2x square +5x-3

------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer:-

  • If -3 is the solution for the given equation, when x is substituted with -3 answer should be zero

Given equation,  2x^{2} + 5x - 3

substituting value of x as -3

=  2(-3^{2})+5(-3)-3

=  18-15-3

= 18-18 = 0

  • Hence, when x is substituted with -3 answer is zero

    So, -3 is solution of 2x^{2} +5x-3
