Answer» I have a Western Digital My Book World Edition WDG1NC10000N 1TB. This thing is a piece of crap! Does anyone know if I can open it up and convert it to a usb drive? Is it just a regular HD on the inside? It is just way too slow and you can only transfer 500mb at a TIME or it will LOCK up! I put it in a SATA drive USB enclosuer but the computer won't assign it a drive LETTER.
