Click of death on start-up - This occurs at start up, where the drive attempts to align to the start of the disk and read the drive profile and Master Boot Record/Bootstrap/Boot Sector.

Bad Head during use - Head failure during use, SOMETIMES cause by a bad spot on disk.

Bad Head

Head Crash - Head failure, caused by the head coming into contact with the disk.

Head Phaser Blast - Head failure, caused by the head getting stuck to the disk.

Bad Spindle Bearings/Motor - Spindle failure, caused by spindle motor or bearings.
I can't BACKUP data because I'm haveing monitor issues
I took both HDD's and opened it up and I turned it on and both of the heads were scraching the disk
I also found that the heads had broken off parts like the reader was broken off and bent out of shape I think both heads are defective

You opened both Hard Drives up and EXPOSED the shiny platter?
You then spun it?
The heads are damaged?
You scratched the platter?

Sorry mate, you just ruined any chance of data RECOVERY.*Sigh*.....No I opened it and when I first saw it it was all scrached. I took a look at the reader head and the head was scraching the platterI dident have anything important it was an old computer and dident have much memory on it so there was no downside and anyway data recovery is way to expensiveYou need new hard disks.
