Answer» I have a P4 1.8 with a gig of ram and it ORIGINALLY had a 40 gig HD but I stuck in a 200. I have looked up the bios which is RG84510A but I DONT know what to do to change it. you have an older version of windows XP. you either need to:
A: purchase a newer version of windows (either a newer version of XP or vista) B: CREATE a partition. -create about a 40gb partition for XP and/or other applications, download and install the XP updates. after installing the updates you should see the REMAINING harddrive space within XP's "computer management" application, from there you can format the remaining harddrive space.as of now, there is 121gb on local and 61 on "new volume". i am not sure how i got here. this is off subject but could this rig run vista? [email protected] 1 GB DDR2100? it could, i just wouldnt recommend it.is there no amount of updating that can fix this?

fix what? it appears that you can now see the remaining HD space; feel free to format it.
