Answer» https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/Wishlist/PublicWishDetail.asp?WishListNumber=8435626&WishListTitle=budget+pc Some improvements could be made to processor and such but all together what do you think.here are a couple suggestions... 1. a better quality power supply. i recommend a corsair or OCZ PSU. 2. different RAM. i recommend this RAM. it is the same speed as the G SKILL RAM, but its 2gb's $50.00 vs. 1.5gb's $48.00. it also frees up one more RAM slot. and as you stated, the processor could be better. Whoa that wasn't the ram i thought i added i thought i added 1GB sticks i guess that's why it came out a little lower than i expected lol.My thoughts exactly. I would get a pair of memory sticks as the mb does support dual channel memory. I am not sure about that power supply either. I like SeaSonic. I agree with homer's suggestions. Not sure about the CPU cooler either, it may SUFFICE but at 60mm, that's likely to be noisy. Why the low profile cooler anyway, with such a roomy case?just going by price i mean that processor doesn't really need a big heatsink. You could always buy retail and use the stock heatsink. I just think that the low profile cooler will be quite noisy and may run HOT with such a small FAN. |
