Solve : 9 pin serial port?

Answer» hi all my comp (PIV, 128 MB RAM, 40 GB HDD, Win XP) has two 9 pin SERIAL com ports. however one of them is not WORKING... in the sense, that i am not GETTING data feed from it. when i checked the "properties" it says "device working PROPERLY". what may be the problem? is there any way i can give three data feeds when my comp has only two com ports? regards
