Answer» well i have a problem with my 9-pin serial port. ive got this flying instructor aero-guidance or SOMETHING and it requires a SOFTWARE adapter. I got one in the package and its a 9-pin and 25-pin. my computer wont pik it up for some reason. PLZ help........A 9 pin to 25 pin adapter is not software and will not be detected by the computer as new hardware. It is a simple plug in device that converts the 9 nine arrangement to a 25 pin arrangement, just like some external modem cables. The computer detects serial ports as COM ports. Shut the computer down, hook up the device, then reboot and load any necessary DRIVERS. |
