Answer» HI guys i am having a dell laptop for SERVICE i issue i short-out was when i connect the laptop on DIRECT ac via adapter it does on if i removed the ac and turn on by USING battery it turn on and running and i connect the ac it ill charge and i unplugged the battery it run normally {note if i connect the battery and turn on by using Ac it wont turn on } model of the motherboard DELL DA0v02MB6G0 RE: g if you don't understand my problem ill explain it clearlyIt is not un common for a laptop power supply not to be able to start the laptop with the battery plugged in, this is normally a sign the external power supply is wearing out. Or the battery is, as the battery is able to charge and run the Laptop it is UNLIKELY the battery. From what you describe it is most likely the external power supply failing. It's either a junk generic charger...or the charge port is faulty which depending on how bad a reputable shop can repair... |
