Answer» It has never done this before, but just recently, when my WINDOWS xp pro boots up completely, i LOG onto my name desktop LOADS, my a-drive will kick on, like its reading and then quits.. does this in safe mode also, and i have shut down all PROGS, its never done this before...Perhaps it is searching for a program to run that has not been correctly uninstalled. I suggest you clean the registry and remove redundant files with a program such as Regseeker and Advanced System Optimizer.
