Overclocking is changing the multiplier and or VOLTAGES to the CPU for a performance gain.
Best and only upgrades for a laptop is adding more RAM...i would NOT recommend Overclocking a laptop.Depending on the laptop it can be relatively easy to swap out the hard drive as well. Swapping out a conventional hard drive for a good SSD can make a real difference in startup, LOAD times and general responsiveness. But good SSDs are still very expensive and have some issues of their own.I wouldn't be recommending SSD HDD's just yet as an upgrade...they have a ways to go still.why do you not recommend over clocking a laptop?Heat Kills...
