Solve : A8N32-SLI Deluxe Issues?

Answer»

I just GOT a A8N32-SLI Deluxe to replace my old A8N-SLI motherboard which fried.

But now I'm have a couple problems with the new motherboard, first I'm getting graphics glitches such as dots on the screen starting as soon as I boot and many more glitches when running things like WoW. Second I get a constant buzzing sound if I turn the volume up very loud, I'm guessing it's a drive ISSUE since it goes away if I mute all sound.

Specs:
Processor: AMD Athlon +4200 X2
Motherboard: ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
GFX Card: BFG 7900GT
OS: Windows XP
2.5gigs ram
WD 160GB HD

EDIT:
I took some screen shots of the graphics issue.

http://pcbin.net/userfiles/Joe/Images/gfxproblem2.JPGHave you tried downloading and re-installing the drivers?

http://www2.bfgtech.com/DriverDownload.aspxI've updated every driver I can think of and I've updated to a newer BIOS, still having the same problems.Did these problems start occurring after you updated the BIOS ? ?It was happening with the BIOS that came installed on the board too.For a change we know a lot about a PROBLEM computer and that is welcom.

Most importantly, though, we do not know the make, model, wattage and age of the power supply.

Was it the same PSU in the previous motherboard arrangement. What exactly happened to that motherboard?the PSU is an Ultra 550 Watt model# is ULT31851, and is about a year old.

My setup is the exact same as it was with the old motherboard.

The old motherboards chipset fan died and ended up taking the chipset with it. It rapidly died over a few days, took multiple attempts to boot up and then stopped booting altogether. Those screenshots don't look too bad to me...the buzzing sound could be interference from a cordlerss phone nearby or another MAJOR appliance.I don't think its an interference issue, if I mute all sound through the volume control panel it goes away, I could be wrong but that I don't think that would happen if it was being caused by interference or hardware feedback would it?

Did you look at the 2nd screenshot, the first one just shows the dots I see during normal web browsing and stuff, the second one is running WoW, the graphics are very messed up in it.I don't play WOW but it still looked decent to me...This http://pcbin.net/userfiles/Joe/Images/normal.JPG is what it's supposed to look like.I guess...

Other than the tint i see no difference.

ok, well to me it looks like everything is being PULLED towards the center of the screen, making it very hard to actually see anything.Check the monitor settings...
