Solve : A8V Won't Boot?

Answer»

Hello All, Cleaned my computer the other day, after that computer
would not boot, there is a 12v 4 prong wire that hooks into board
it's the cpu votage wire when i take that off it turns everthing on,
but no video or beep codes, was working fine before the cleaning of
the dust, book says you need the wire to boot the board, weird it has
me stumped any help with this, thanks.Did you vaccuum this MACHINE by chance ? ?

Not a good idea.
Re-seat all cards, RAM, and cables and give it another go.It sounds LIKE you ESD your board cause the pc needs that so that it can send the data to the CPU and threw out the computer. TRY connecting that wire then REMOVE your RAM and try booting if you dont hear a single loud beep your board probably needs to be replaced and did you remove the CPU by chance?Quote

send the data to the CPU and threw out the computer.
"threw out" means throughout, right?
