Answer» I have an Abit NF-M2S Motherboard with AMD Athlon 3800+ Duel Core 64bit processor.I previously had 2 x 1GB DDR OCZ PC5400 memory modules installed until 1 module FAILED and the PC wouldn't POST until I removed the FAULTY module.I have tried without success replacing the failed OCZ module with a Kingston module[known working] of the same VALUE but the PC wont POST and gives Long CONTINUOUS BEEPS until I remove it.With one module it will boot ok in either of the two slots but not with two installed..Any ideas?The Kingston is probably incompatible with the OCZ stick...different memory timings. |
