I have an older soyo MOTHERBOARD with built in sound. It needs older version AC97 drivers. I looked around on the web but I can't find a good place with older version drivers.
When I use new STUFF EVERYTHING loads OK but in the device manager the sound has an exclamation mark.
I don't know the model number of the board off the top of my HEAD. I am running XP pro.

I didn't know the model at first but then I found it hidden under a card. I googled it and got the drivers I needed.
I am all set.
