Answer» ok heres the thing. my husband GOT me a new harddrive and installed it. he changed the old c drive to the d drive now. but i haven't cleaned anything out of my old documents folder. ie favorites, downloaded files, pictures etc. I go to the d drive and clik on documents and settings and i can open and clik on any other USER but myself. my folder will not open, so i can access is it. it pops up saying access DENIED. i am able to get anything i want out of my kids folders but nothing from mine. when i right clik and go properties it says the folder is empty..... I really need to get into this folder and get my favorites, files and pictures. do you have any suggestion? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!Are you an admin in the computer if not set you self to be one so you get the full control And that will fix the acessdenie
