when i tried to boot acer aspire 5520. It starts to boot and all of a sudden the screen will turn as what is normally SEEN on a tv without a signal. after about ten seconds the pc will shut down on its own without fully booting.
This started almost a week now but i still cannot understand whats going on.Good EVENING salifu

If I am understanding your post correct you are not getting anything on the screen? No "Acer logo" etc it is just black and then the PC shuts off on you?

#1... The heatsink my be plugged if so it will need to be cleaned out.

#2... When the PC shuts off is there any LIGHTS that stay on? i.e CHARGER light, HD activity light,

#3... When you start the laptop do you hear any normal window sounds?

#4... When you TRY to start the PC plug in a monitor (LCD or CRT) into the VGA port does it show anything?

#5... When the PC shuts off do any of the lights flash or is there any beeps etc.

#6... What OS do you have on it XP, Vista etc

thnx for your reply. i see the logo and it even goes as far aas boot choice screen where i am told to start windows normally or start with boot repair. but anywhere from there the screen mixes like what you see when a tv looses signal.
#2 see the charger light on even if it shuts down
#3do not hear any windows sounds
#4 before shutting down the screen flashes several times
#5 i use windows 7
