Answer» PLs HELP... My acer laptop keep restart when I turn ON. It detect RAM, CDROM, and harddisk then restart again and again. I press F2 or F12, it cannot go to BIOS also. I try to use battery / PSU also the same. I try to take out all the drive including CDROM and harddisk also same problem happen. I try with my boot disk to CDROM, it read but after a while but it restart again. Any hero pls help. thankssssss1) What was different just before this happened (did you ADD new hw, SW, was there malware)? 2) What's the OS?My OS is Window XP. I didn't add any Hardware/ SOFTWARE. It happen this morning but I still using it at last night.So it restarts if you boot to a cd too, is that correct? If so it's not a software problem or a virus. That narrows it down to a PIECE of hardware and based on your first post I'll guess ram. Download memtest and check the ram http://www.memtest.org/How to use it?Download the .iso file, burn it to a cd, boot to it and run the test.OK I will try it. Thanks a lot. You're welcome
