HI everyone
I hope this is the right area to post this question.
I am trying to add new hardware to my pc. but  when nothing happened i went to the control panel and discovered my add hardware wizard is missing . I dont know what happened to it. any ideas of what i can do to fix it so i can get my camera in ?   win 98  THANKS..

presumably your camera came with a C.D? see if there is anyway you can run install the drivers you need. you may find more luck in the windows sectionHi  Kablam

Yes i have the cd and i installed it 6 times with no luck. just cant figure it out. But thank you for you help .Are the drivers that you are trying to install compatible? With your OS, RAM and everything?

yes it should work. I was using it before i had to format due to people deleting important  files from my pc and it going nuts.
not only is my hardware missing from the control panel but system also.
windows doesnt detect anything.... thanks for trying..Are you the ADMINISTRATOR account for this computer? It sounds like you might have limited access for some reason, or some of your Windows files are missing/corrupted ...
