Answer» Hello. I was WONDERING if anyone knew how to add a "contact me" link to a website (html) but keeping the email address PRIVATE? So, I want to add "Contact me here" as a link to my email address but not have it shown. I use Firefox if that HELPS. Thanks a ton! The best way is to have the emailing processed by the web server - if you're using PHP or some other web programming language. Failing this, it is virtually impossible to prevent email addresses being harvested off a web page. You can try email obfuscation but since it's a known technique, spammers can work their way AROUND it.Here and here are examples of SENDING mail with PHP. The second being more secure. |
