Answer» Hello, I'm not very clued up on what to look for in a decent LAPTOP and was wondering if any of your distinguished selves could help me! I have found 2 that I'm comparing, the links to them are:

I've never HEARD of Advent before and so don't know about their processors etc. I would like a relatively quick laptop (512MB RAM+) with a decent amount of memory (60GB+). I'd also like to be able to record music onto the laptop so it must be able to do this. I don't want to spend more than £500 so if someone could help advise me (or even suggest another one to go for!) then I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you very much, Sam The first one should do nicely. Do you really need a laptop?I don't need it in the way I need oxygen but it would come in very handy. I'm going to be moving around a lot so need something that can come with me. Why such a mean answer? I was only asking a simple QUESTION cos you guys know a lot more than me about these things!I didn't mean to be mean if you know what I mean, I only asked because unless you have a specific need for a laptop then a desktop is a far better option. I hope you GET one that you are very happy with. ok, but I need the laptop as I'm going to be on the move quite a lot so need something that can come with me easily. I was looking at those two but wanted someone with a bit more experience to look at them and advise me on whether they're good or bad!
