Answer» after installing RAM it wasnt fixed properly so i switched on the COMPUTER all of a sudden i noticed some smell COMING from the motherboard i straightly switched off the main power.i ralised that wasnt fixed properly.after fixing the the monitor remains blank.the motherboard light is on, the ram i tested is ok. whats the problem???You installed the RAM backwards?yes i installed the ram backwardsIf you REINSTALLED it properly and it's still not working, RAM is damaged beyond repair and computer will not start.What kind of of RAM can be installed backwards?
