Solve : Airlink 101 2.5" SATA enclosure? |

Answer» I am needing help with this Airlink 101. My old laptop got dropped on our KITCHEN tile floor and monitor & case got BROKEN beyond repair. So we bought a new laptop and I wanted to salvage files and photos from old laptop hd. I bought a Airlink 101 2.5" SATA ENCLOSURE, put hd in enclosure and nothing wasn't coming up. It was my understanding it was a plug & play! Under Computer management - > Disk management it is showing "Disk 1" with a red down error, "Unknown" "Not intialized". So I try to initialize it by MBR or the other option (GTU?) and the Logical Disk Manager says "Incorrect function". Is there any one that can explain what I am doing wrong? BTW - I have two other PCS with XP but this enclosure does not show up at all! Only on new laptop with VISTA |
