I would like to know if we can READ the CMOS by software or by hardware means.!!...and how data is !!represented if we can extact it .!!!... and why we can or we can't read the CMOS And why we would want to do this when an easier way is readily available........Thankx But what is that way u are talking about !! and more is better ...you don't think so !!! '''''a key sequence to access all available BIOS settings'''''''' i dont understand that !! sorry if I bored you. merci. Many motherboards enter the BIOS with Delete, or F1 (IBM) or F2 (Dell). Once you get there (and it usually tells you on the boot up screen) you can look around all you want. Be CAREFUL if you change anything!Theres a shedfull of utilities out there that will read bios info and dump it to disk in varius formats. No need to enter the bios at all to get info. |
