Solve : all these partitions???

hey i have a seagate ST3120026AS. I just looked at it in my storage manager ( brand new install of windows 7) and the manager tells me i have 4 simple volumes on this drive. I never set these up.

together, they are 20 GB of space of disk!!!

does anyone know why these partitions EXIST? are they manufactured in there?

Did you create new partitions possibly every time u reinstalled XP? I mean I guess it would MAKE sense since u installed xp 3 times plus wndows 7 once...Thank you but no that is not the case.Since it's a new install i'd re-boot to the Win7 DVD REMOVE all partitions and do a clean install...
