Answer» I have noticed on my CPU that 4 pins are bent against the green BACK part of the cpu, the 4 in question are the very 2 CORNER pins on the back. one of the CORNERES which is ok is the one where the gold triangle is, will this make the CPU in-operationalHow did this happen? All of the pins should be in the socket for correct operation.well when i was taking the fan off, the cpu was more or lesss tuck to it so it just shot out withough the silver lever being lifted up. hense the pins bending back. i would imagine they would be easy to replace but as i bought it off ebay i imagine it will cost a lot to fixCPU pins can not be REPLACED. if they are bent you MIGHT get lucky carefully STRAIGHTENING them, but if they are off you need a new CPU. |
