Answer» Hey Guys,
I was wondering what the Advantages of getting a 790FX CHIP set motherboard would be... The current build I am looking at is
ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe/WiFi AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX (maybe ASUS M3N72-D AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 750a) 4 gig Corsair Dominator DDR2 800 EVGA GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB Phenom 9950 Black
Would it be better for me to get THE 750a Sli for an easier upgrade such as adding an additional 9800gx2? Also, I heard that the Phenom 9850 uses less power and can be overclocked as high as the 9950.
I already have a PSU, but its 600w Is that enough for the above plus 4 hard drives? If it is than I am guessing it isn't enough for two 9800gx2's.
If you have any suggestions or replacements AROUND the same price, LET me know... THANKS Guys!!1st only reason for a 790 is sli and a 750 has more probs then the 790 and it also depends on your psu honelsty i THINK 600 watts isnt enough really no matter what for that card but thats just me790FX Is CrossFire not sli. the 750a is sli. I guess I will look into PSU'sooooo sorry was thinkin intel boards lol
