Answer» Yesterday at WORK I attemped to plug speakers into my computer, I got a SHOCK and computer shut down. When I tried to restart it the monitor looked like it was starting up then went black. Did I fry this computer and if so is there anyway to retrieve the information. [smiley=shocked.gif]Well, until we determine the actual problem, I would remove the hard drive and slave it into ANOTHER machine to BACKUP all the important data. Once the data is safe, we can see if this machine is salvageable. Thanks, But I wont be touching that computer, I need to CALL the computer guy. I just need to know the odds for my health, my boss is a freak! I would precict that the hard drive will be fine. The other components may be suspect.
