http://searchdon.com/create.asp Kellee...... Are you sure your not confusing ...... trademarked names with fonts there a huge differance.
dl65 I mean, Do they have all rights to the font type? You know Google's colours & font or Yahoo's kooky font in red?
Could I get sued for using any of them for my business ?
Kellee...... Well , I do not think that the fonts are trademarked or they would be marked as such ....... So I would go ahead and use whatever font STYLE you wish ....... the same would apply to colours ...... Do the colours SHOW up in any of the pantone charts or ANPA color or DIC color guide.
dl65 i'm sure these letters are made with http://www.logogle.com/ (google logo maker) read the policy there...There are fonts that are copyrighted. Any work done by someone is considered to be copyrighted work and PROTECTED under copyright law. This debate is discussed A LOT on the below article.

I've never heard however of any site getting in trouble or sued for using a particular font. But that's not to say it couldn't happen.
