Answer» i recently got an ASUS P3B-F Slot1 Mobo for my new computer i was building and it runs a 500MHz Slot 1 P3 at 750MHz quite confortably however i got an ASUS S370 adapter card (witch its said in the manual that there compadible) and when i put my 1GHz P3 on the card than install it in the computer it doesnt work. But when i install an older Celeron (the non CuMine one) at 500MHz it works. any ideas Not a compatable CPU Different bus speed, architecture, etc.i dont understand its just a P3 CuMine PGA370 prosser operateing at 1000/256/133/1.75v the prosser that i have operateing in it that works says 667/256/133/1.75vMaybe you need to mess around with the jumpers a bit until you get the settings right. Try resetting your CMOS to default after having installed the new processor.. tried all of that. i tried it running in JumperFree mode in Jumper mode with the correctl clock multipliers and FBS set as well as velies at lower settings as well as reseting the cmos between every try.Maybe the BIOS needs to be flashed to support this processor.
