Solve : Asus P5B VM DO bois crash after overclocking?

Answer»

Okay, I need a little bit of help.

I wanted my computer a bit more reliable so I decided to overclock my DDR2 FREQUENCY. My computer runs at 800GHz and I changed it to 866GHz or something like that. I rebooted my computer and it wonted load anything, my monitor would not detect my computer so I turned it off and plugged it out and came back in a half an hour and plugged it back in. No luck. I then plugged it out at around 9:00 pm and came back at 4:00 pm and tried again. I usually screw up on overclocks so I had this problem three times now and it work the two other times.

How can I solve this problem?Try clearing CMOS. Remove the battery from your motherboard for about thirty minutes and then place it back on the board. Make sure you are grounded before touching any internal components. Static electricity can fry your motherboard.

That battery will not come out for some reason. That is odd.

There might be a CLEAR CMOS JUMPER on your motherboard. Refer to your manual.

You might need to use a small screwdriver to move the release clip to the side
