If it is, how come the installing processes goes smoothly but then when I turn off my comp plug the MONITOR into the CARD and turn in BACK on the monitor doesnt come on but i hear the SOUND of it starting up? Is it the monitor or something with the comp?
Any help is appreciated. Also if anyone else could recommend any other PCI graphics cards under 150$ that i could look into.Garth......Is the existing vid card ......onboard ?
When you installed the new vid card .......did winXP see it OK and dislpay the message "new hardware found? and then ...........the message .....New hardware has been sussessfully installed ?
Did you go into the bios and disable the on board card ?

dl65 Is this all a recent purchase from CompUSA? Why not discuss it with them? Have you contacted the manufacturer's about this? What did you learn?
On the surface it seems compatible. But please address these issues, for a better response.
