Answer» I was wondering if there was to attach a batch file to a folder so that when you open the folder it starts the batch. Anyone know if this is possible?As far as I know all files are attached to one folder or another. I know of no mechanism that will launch a batch file when it's folder is opened although I can see a NIGHTMARE scenario if one existed. Maybe you could tell us what you're try to do. that wouldn't be verry handsome for virus-programmers, is it, open MAP where spyware is installed and a batch file delete parts of windows I CREATED a log that tells me what TIME it was opened and I wanted to stick it to a folder so if someone opened the folder the log would tell me when. Kind of a FAIL safe to tell me if my younger brother was messing around with my files.
