Solve : background noise in headphone using motherboard audio connction? |
|
Answer» HI everybody, My PC has an Asus motherboard P4PE-X, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.80 GHz, SoundMax audio. I am now starting to get everything ready to transfer my vinyl records to CD with Magix CLEANING lab. So far no problem, but checking the sound with a headphone, connected to the line out connection of the motherboard I noticed that there is a constant background noise such as a TL lamp interference, but I am not aware of any source of that kind. Does anyone recognise this? Could this be avoided by installing a separate audio card? Thanks in advance. Hans_nlA seperate card is no guarantee the noise will dissipate... Try reorienting any electronic devices near the machine. Thanks, Patio, for your advice. I tried to eliminate all possible sources in the neighbourhood of the PC but NOTHING worked, so, as a last ATTEMPT I installed a separate soundcard (Creative Audigy SE) and that did it: silence at last!Good to hear that worked for you... |
