Answer» The image is on CD, so: CD R1 HL-DT-STCD-ROMIt says that it was not made by norton , retry
This is where I wanna murder someone!!!
Guess I should just give up!!Check what kind of files you have on that CD.Files??Try to boot the computer from the Norton Ghost CD he gave you.If the image were on that CD Ghost would START and then point to the image file automatically... This means that when you created the Ghost image it probably was saved to another drive since Ghost cannot create an image on a drive it is TRYING to image. Search the CD first for *.gho......if no LUCK then search all the hard drives on that machine for the same thing.Doh! That's right, Patio! It's been a while since I've used Ghost.I called the guy who made the CD, He checked it, it doesn't have some files anymore, guess it won't work.
Thanks guys Search your hard drives for star dot gho files:
Enter *.gho in the search window and hit Enter If it finds any then they are your Ghost backups. I would check the dates on them and use the most recent one. Now you simply go back to launching the Ghost PROGRAM and when it asks for image file to restore from point it to the LOCATION of the .gho file... Good Luck !Quote I called the guy who made the CD, He checked it, it doesn't have some files anymore He's almost a road kill
